Debra may have a new vocation but she's in very familiar territory. Until recently she owned and operated the Queen Street fashion store 'DNA' for five years and she was on the Richmond Unlimited committee for six years including a year as chairperson. Through these activities and involvement in various community events, she became known as 'The Queen of Richmond' and 'The girl with the big smile and the big hair'.
Despite the demise of 'DNA', Debra is still smiling and has maintained her positive attitude. She is thoroughly enjoying her new career, which utilises her past experiences in banking, retail and promotions. It also allows her to use her well-honed relationship skills. "I am a real people person" she says. "I am down to earth and easy going but always professional"
